Fixed.
Also, it looks fine. It looks like your hair is hanging out over it. That's all. That would happen in RL too...
Want ANet to fix that while their at it?
Good job on getting the Blindfold. It should be dyable. That's the only problem I see.

the big problem is that hair is going-through the blindfold in the front and that wouldn't happen in real life. and it looks like the spacing is off by just a little bit so if that gets adjusted then it would be correct.
plus i expected the blindfolds should by dyable to match any costume. like the mo zing ninja mask is dyable.

It looks like your hair is weaved into the blindfold...
Not dyeable? That's disappointing, but I've been feeling that way about GW:EN for a while now.

That's a graphical glitch - I'd be surprised if it's not fixed some time down the road.

I don't think they can make it fit all hair-styles.
The only reasonable solution would be to make the mask thinner so it fits closer to the face, and therefore won't reach past most hair styles. But certain faces would clip through it instead, and look much worse.
The unreasonable solution would be to either make it take on a certain shape for every hair style, or thin it out and make it change shape for every face.
Another thing they could do to semi-fix it, though I know that for no reason other than maybe priorities they'll never do it, would be to just change the texture to make it look like several cloth bands erratically woven together to make it really look like any clipping hair is just woven into it.
They do need to make it dyeable though, and if they haven't already, they should also make loose ends hang off the back and be physiqued (like guild capes and pieces of certain armors).

i personally dont like hair weaving through the blindfold at all. i prefer anet add a variations of the blindfold that is meant to fix this hair clipping problem. perhaps it'll work by detecting which hair your character has and use the proper blindfold to adjust to it.

well of course i have super ephemeral hair that just goes straight through solid objects lol.
idk if they could make it work for all hairstyles as it would be quite a bit of work BUt they can make it dyeable then it wouldnt be a big deal.

well its not that many hairstyles anet has to fix. just for certain long hair styles that have this similar problem with hair clipping. perhaps one or two variations would fix for all.

Problem with long hair and male elementalist Ancient's armour too. Mainly at the back. I'd have reported it, but I'd have most likely got passed off to Guru, which would have got ignored and have been a waste of my time entirely.

the way it looks is quite disappointing since this is the headgear i like the most from all of the new ones :/
my mesmer also has the one eye covering haristyle (elonian) and probably it will clip very badly (doubt glasses will look good on her too..)
my ele has a fringe so it will probably clip too
and wtf it's no dyable..
that's another reason for anet to add HAIRDRESSER xDDDDD

I should post pictures of what the 15k Kurzick top does with my Monk's hair when she runs.

I don't care about the clipping, but if I can't dye it I'm not interested in it.

why do you think they make your character bald with hats like the bandana or the yule cap? It's because they don't want to have to fix clipping issues like this. Be thankful your character doesn't have to be bald to wear the blindfold. I do wonder why they didn't make it dyable tho.....

the blindfold is just 1 color--so how hard can it be to make it dyable?? doesn't make sense to me.

be happy you can keep your current hairstyle with it? FFS people...the hair itself doesn't clip with their face so why should it clip with a blindfold? Just make the blindfold match the face profile and the hair would just flow over top of it, not through it.
You people make me sick with all your fanboi-ism.

I agree A11. To claim this isn't glichy is fanboy. Yes, there have always been cropping issues. If a.net wanted to introduce difficult to get "unique" stand alone pieces like this though, they should really put some testing into it.

All of the new headgear is completely, positively, 100% about looks. It should look good. It should be dyable.
